Party With a Cause: Andrew Garfield, Ed McVey, Douglas Booth Come Out to Annabel’s
Seal took to the stage to do a medley of his tracks for the annual fundraising event for World Amazon Day.

Andrew Garfield, James Corden, Douglas Booth and Ed McVey came out on Thursday evening to celebrate the annual fundraising event for World Amazon Day, hosted by Richard and Patricia Caring at Annabel’s.
Earlier this month, the private members club in Mayfair unveiled their annual facade, outside the club’s famous location on Berkeley Square replicating plants, flowers and birds of the Amazon.
Seal, the Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter took to the stage to do a medley of his tracks “Future Love Paradise,” “Crazy” and “Kiss from a Rose,” followed by a DJ set by Who Made Who and Bedouin.
Each cocktail that was ordered was said to plant two-and-a-half trees back into the Amazon. The cocktails were in partnership with The Lost Explorer Mezcal with names including Heritage Fizz, Tobalá Old Fashioned and Amazonian Gimlet.
“This year, we celebrate four years of Annabel’s for the Amazon and the Caring Family Foundation’s work dedicated to the Amazon rainforest. Though we have made good progress, I have seen firsthand that there is much work that remains to be done. The Annabel’s facade this year draws attention to our beautiful rainforest being engulfed by flames to depict the reality of what the Amazon is facing, it serves as a stark message that it is in great danger,” said Patricia Caring, co-executive chairwoman of The Birley Clubs and cofounder of The Caring Family Foundation in an interview.
The Caring Family Foundation has been working with the Brazilian foundation SOS Amazônia, as well as expanding their efforts to two more Indigenous and traditional communities.
To date the foundation has planted 1.75 million trees and is on track to hit 2 million seedlings by March 2024.
During London Fashion Week, The Birley Clubs, which owns George and Mark’s Club in Mayfair, took over the city with back-to-back celebrations, from ES Magazine’s annual party at Mark’s Club; an intimate gathering at Hound Bar at George to Kate Moss hosting a wellness morning at Annabel’s for her brand, Cosmoss.
