Overview

At The Caring Family Foundation, we recognise Indigenous peoples as the true guardians of the Amazon rainforest. As deforestation accelerates, releasing vast amounts of CO2 and fuelling global warming, our mission to protect and restore this vital ecosystem has never been more urgent.

Through our reforestation and restoration initiatives, we have planted over 5.8 million trees and seedlings to date, helping to safeguard biodiversity, stabilise the climate.

Ecoporé

Working together with Ecoporé, an organisation based in Rondônia, one of the most deforested regions of the Amazon, we support the Regenera Project, combining large-scale reforestation with community-led economic development.

This work strengthens Indigenous leadership in restoration, with a focus on inclusive participation, including women and young people. It supports tree planting across multiple territories while generating income through seed collection and bioeconomy activities. By linking forest restoration with sustainable livelihoods, the programme helps build long-term environmental and economic resilience within Indigenous communities.
